My α Journey: To The Center Of The Earth

Well, i was trying out on shooting still life pictures…which i find it alil difficult to complete tat genre due to insufficient funds for a F58 flash( not for long =P )

Anyway, it’s not much of a problem when you give yourself alil creativity boost and WAlaaaa!! results turn out resonably great….( it wud be better if there is a softbox with f58 *thumbs up )

overall great photo despite of alil dark areas.

And this Big Fat Adorable Penguin Plushie
Comments: Well, i decided to use natural lighting as alternative source to give alil natural touch to this masterpiece.( natural lighting from the side )

Presenting CoVV CoVV in The Basket
Comments: Well then i tried using some natural lighting from behind, instead of the harsh effects of direct internal flash( diffuser couldn’t work as there were too much reflections ).

Well, My α Journey will continue on when the creativity nerve pulls me by my spine, n Walaaa results may turn out good.

Most importantly, be yourself…..many of us( photographers ) try our best to give out this or that sorta photo outcome “for exp this angle/ that angle, gotta shoot from above, side, point it up n stuffs or even requirement of special tools for special effects like softbox” but what we do not realise is that the creativity that lies behind each photographer depends on how he/she manipulates the condition for their own desire of the outcome.

ARE you sure by buying the ‘F58 flash’ you’ll be able to take GOOD still life photos?

1st photo out of focus la…
2nd photo lacks something, i just can’t tell, it looks to ‘normal’ angle or lighting la…the focus is ok
3rd photo is nice, the lighting from the back is quite disturbing though

agnes- no!! photography is my passion!!! it ain’t a job, nor a hobby…!! hehe…alil harsh but yea…. my passion! thx for the comment on the cow cow..=P

1st- yea lil…i focused on the eye part
2nd- just trying to use natural lighting
3rd- thanks for the comment!! success as i guess, well the lighting was from behind of me..hehe reflected abit as the background contains glossy finishes…

The first picture is a good balance of both objects although if the basket stood out more, it would look better.

Next picture has a nice natural lighting.

Good focus for the third picture. Most of the time, pictures like this is rather predictable. Too common.

My personal liking would be the first picture.

charissa- 1st pic , u shud try to stand alil behind ur pc screen n see the difference…u’ll see sumthin different..mayb a nicer view of it
