My α Journey: that kept me awake till 4am

I was reading up on Patrick Teoh’s blog during midnite and it continue to amaze me with flawless words & expressions, lol….Then I decided to stop, ” must resist his poisonous talks “… So i brushed up n got on my bed …And closed my eyes and tried to sleep… * metal rooftings sounds * got my eyes wide open @_@ REALLY BIG @_@! Lo & behold….i spotted a visitor jus rite outside my window…. guess what?? it’s the endangered species
civet cat or luwak
I waited with anticipation for a clearer view of it for bout 45 mins….n at last!! gotcha!!( i thought ) it was in the af mode with flash pop up..n triggered the pre flash for a few time….the civet cat didn’t ran off…but stared at me carefully… i took few shots…but arghh….cudn’t get the right settings…try n try & it ran off finally…. urghh!! tired & dissapointed was I……
So I decided to test out the settings then n finally got a few settings for it….

but well, atleast i got it’s shhhhhittt….XD
Urghhh…it smells all nite long during my hibernation…
I was looking through this all nite long without any results…oh man!!( my windows with grills n window pieces..)
Wanted to tell you guys that It was fun and that my night journey will continue on another day……

Guess what?? woot…while I was typing this blog I heard some *metal roofting sounds again* I was freaking the excited u knw!! haha… i went to the window n peep thru once again….Wallaaa!! We’ve got a visitor!!! I was overjoyed!!

this photo was taken when i wanted to get close to it by goin dwnstair to the kitchen area for a closer shot….well..i pull the magnetic moZ strip slow ….sloowly…..sloowwlllyy….ops…the whole netting came off…lol….

Well….it was way too awesome taking night shots especially with wild animals( endangered ones sumore )
All the best for those who are planning on taking” night safari shots” haha….very kan cheong wan….sudden adrenaline rush in your spines….
Anyway, it was a young civet….i’ve seen the whole family of em….the mama is HUGE..really no swt….as in HUGE!! and LOoooooNnnnnnnGgggggg…… they were once staying on my rooftop when i didn’t have my α200 with me at that time…It cud have been feaking whoooppinngg experience if I manage to capture em….
Gotta look out more on night photography…wuhooo….

I agree with Clarence. Taking pictures at that hour with flashes on, people might consider someone trying to break in instead. By the way, you should try ’shoo-ing’ the civet cats away with a bbgun at midnight! It’s a whole lot of fun!
I’d prefer the picture of Barney, singing opera. That’s nice.
